Gunghlin Lakes Junior Golf Scholarship 2012

(for 12 - 15 year olds)

The Gungahlin lakes Junior Golf scholarship is open to all 12, 13, 14 and 15 year olds

Successful applicants will be offered a 2 year Junior Golf Scholarship at Gungahlin Lakes

2 Year Full Golf scholarship:

Is a Free Junior Golf membership at Gungahlin Lakes. This entitles the junior to play for free and attend Junior School Holiday Golf Clinics for Free. After he/she has gained their GA handicap and completed 10 competition rounds they will be awarded their Junior Member shirt.

If the scholarship holder does not attain their handicap and play a minimum 10 competition rounds their scholarship will cease.

How to apply: Applications are now available for our next intake commencing Saturday 11^th February 2012 and Sunday 12^th February 2012 

Administration charge: There is a $50 administration charge per Scholarship application.

Each applicant is then required to attend 8 Group Golf Lessons on a weekend. (Free to the applicant)

At the completion of the 8 golf lessons, each child will be evaluated on their ability, maturity and behaviour and given a written report.

At this time they will be either awarded a;

·         2 year Full Golf scholarship

·         2 Year ½ scholarship (which will have a review after 12 months)

·         Or recommended to join as a Junior member.
