GUNGAHLIN LAKES JUNIOR GOLF SCHOLARSHIP 2012

(for 12 - 15 year olds)

 

The Gungahlin Lakes Junior Golf scholarship is open to all 12, 13, 14 and 15 year olds (at time of application).

Successful applicants will be offered a 2 year Junior Golf Scholarship at Gungahlin Lakes Golf Club.

2-YEAR FULL GOLF SCHOLARSHIP:

Is a Free Junior Golf membership at Gungahlin Lakes Golf Club. It entitles the junior to play for free and attend Junior School Holiday Golf Clinics at no cost.

After he or she has gained their GA handicap and completed 10 competition rounds they will be awarded their Junior Member shirt.

If the scholarship holder does not attain his or her handicap and play a minimum 10 competition rounds during year, their scholarship will cease.

Administration charge: There is a $50 administration charge per Scholarship application.

Each applicant is then required to attend eight (8) Group Golf Lessons on a weekend. (Free to the applicant)

At the completion of the eight (8) golf lessons, each student will be evaluated on their ability, maturity and behaviour and given a written report.

At this time they will be either awarded a;

·         2 year Full Golf scholarship

·         2 Year ½ scholarship (which will have a review after 12 months)

·         Or recommended to join as a Junior member - requiring payment of annual fees
