Junior Golf School  -

The Canberra Golf School is an ideal place for young golfers to start playing golf and to enhance their golfing skills. Children can enroll from the age of 6 into our "Young Guns" and progress through each level as their skills grow.

During the school term, the juniors learn in a fun and safe environment at the Gungahlin Lakes golf range.  To complete the term we conduct a fun skills challenge to see how the juniors are progressing. Click here for our lesson syllabus

Murray evaluates each player towards the end of term and promotes players to the various levels until they reach the "Birdies" at which time they are ready to hit the course.

Start Dates:  Saturday 24th july or Sunday 25th July

Enrolment fee: $149 for the term

Enrolment fee includes

• Coaching fee
• All driving range balls used during the lessons
A Junior Orange Cap when they first commence their lessons. The Orange Cap Junior is entitled to a 20% discount on Golf Equipment at The Golf Warehouse. (excluding sale and clearance items

 
• A Golf Gift:

All Junior Golf School Students receive a  golf gift as part of their programme

Young Guns 1 & Hot Shots 1: A Junior 7 Iron to keep, specifically weighted and the correct length for each player.

Young Guns 2 & Hot Shots 2: A Footjoy junior glove and 6 Precept Balls

Birdies & Eagles: a practice putting mat

FOR ALL CLASSES:
• Duration: 45 mins per class (Pee Wees - 30 Mins.)
• Class size (maximum 10)

NB: If a class is cancelled due to rain, unfortunately there is no make up class as this would lead into the new term. Catch up will be done on one of the Challenge days (week 7 & week 9)

Enrolments for continuing students opens in week 8 of the school term and for new students in week 9
